The third edition of  Viva Technology will take place from May 24th to 26th. ESILV, school of engineering, is an academic partner of the parisian event for global innovation and startups.

Founded in 2016, by Les Échos and Publicis, Viva Technology gathered more than 68 000 visitors in 2017. During three days, the 2018 edition will gather startups, leaders and investors. The aim is to exchange, create and present the latest innovations in all fields of digital.

Programme includes conferences, keynotes, hall of tech, hackathons, challenges and recruitment events. Viva Technology 2018 will host speeches by Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft, Ginni Rommety, CEO of IBM and Dara Khosrowshahi, CEO of Uber.

Engineering school ESILV is an academic partner of Viva Technology 2018. This will allow students, whose programme has a strong digital focus, to access all premises for free.

For engineering students from all years, whether in the New Energies, Computer Science, Big Data and Connected Objects, Mechanical Engineering and Modelling and Financial Engineering majors, Viva Technology is a occasion to discover the latest technological innovations.

Presented by startups and major actors of the tech ecosystem, the innovations cover the following sectors: artificial intelligence and machine learning, IoT and big data, connectivity and It services, fintech, augmented and virtual reality, cleantech, smart cities… all topics taught in ESILV’s educational programme.

Like the CES, Viva Technology stands out from the crowd of trade fairs thanks to the possibility to test innovations in the Hall of Tech. This space lets visitors interact with robots, drones and AR and VR applications, in various fields such as leisure, health, environment or transportation.

Furthermore, Viva Technology encourages students to seize the occasion to develop their professional network with companies and startups. 8000 of them will attend the 2018 edition.

A event to follow with the #poledevinci and #vivatech on Twitter.
