The CTI is the essential foundation of the French system of issuance of engineer diploma. This institution has 4 missions :
- Examining every question related to engineer training;
- Studying the requests of authorization of engineer curriculum offered by each school and following the evolution of these training;
- Interfering if necessary, to save the quality of the training;
- Proceeding to every inquiry in educational establishments and to professionals.

2 – French Higher Education is One of the Best in the World
The excellence of French higher education is widely recognized around the world. Whether in the Shanghai ranking, the Financial Times, the Times Higher Education or the European Report on Science & Technologies of the European Commission, French institutions are always in the foreground.
France invests heavily every year in education and research: education is the largest item of expenditure in the state budget (more than 20%).
The French industrial, technological and scientific successes (space, transport, medicine, mathematics), the number of Nobel prizes or Fields medals, show that France is one of the most dynamic centers of innovation and research.
3 – France is Ranked Fourth in the World for Hosting Foreign Students
France continues to attract foreign students: 343,400 have chosen to come in 2017-2018, an increase of 4.5% over the previous year.
In total, there are 50,000 foreign students in the French capital.
France is today ranked fourth in the world for hosting foreign students. They are 310,000 (12% of the total student population), including 25,000 doctoral students. In ten years, the number of foreign students in France has increased by 75%!
4 – Students Work on Concrete Projects
Students are in contact with companies during their entire course at ESILV through projects, work placements or conferences. The students work on concrete projects and confront permanently their knowledge with the business reality.
The assimilation of knowledge is better if it goes along with a practical example at the same time. That’s why we make students work on concrete “projects”.
