Spring 2022 Graduation Ceremony for Engineering Cohort 2021

On Thursday, April 14, the graduation ceremonies for undergraduate and graduate students from ESILV engineering school were held at Paris La Defense Arena and gathered over 1600 students, parents, friends, staff, and faculty. To walk the stage fully dressed in the grad gown and cap is the ultimate reward for many years of hard work and dedication in engineering school. Such triumph deserves celebration, does it not?

For the academic year of 2021, a total of 1 600 students graduated from Devinci Higher Education:

  • Students who have pursued an engineering degree at ESILV.
  • A management degree at EMLV.
  • A degree in digital and web at IIM.

ESILV recognized its graduates from 2021 in a commencement ceremony at Paris La Defense Arena, the biggest indoor show venue in Europe. After their experience of studying in a Paris Engineering School certified by CTI, ESILV graduates are ready to take on new challenges and advance their careers in engineering. As in other countries, a tradition in France, the graduation ceremony offers moments of excitement. But, in addition, it leaves time and space for reflection and deep insight into some of the challenges of being an engineering student in a graduate school. Here are some highlights from ESILV graduates on social media : looking back at their times at Devinci Higher Education and looking forward to new exciting careers.

Mohammad, class of 2021, proudly graduated from the Master’s in Engineering Programme at ESILV

On LinkedIn, on the aftermath of the graduation ceremony, Mohammad began his posts as he putted it on an enthusiastic note: “I’m delighted to announce that after spending five dynamic best years of my life in a pure endeavor, with ups and downs, here I am, graduated! Five marvelous years at ESILV to become a better computer science engineer. Simultaneously, I followed my Master’s degree in business management at EMLV. I need to thank my two schools for educating skillful creative engineers and conscious competitive managers!”

Shadab, class of 2021, graduated with a degree in data engineering

Finally after a long struggle and hard work, I have received my Master’s degree. It took a lot of patience, suffering and work, but I never lost hope and kept continuing my education. I finally got an internship that changed my career path as Data Engineer and finally landed a mid-senior Data engineer position at Capgemini France. So, just remember the golden words: “Do not lose hope, because hard work, patience, and efforts will always surpass talent”.

Madalina, class of 2021, PhD student in creative technology

Madalina celebrates her engineering graduation with her classmates from Creative Technology major and Clement Duhart, head of DVIC

The adventure continues now as Ph.D. student at Devinci Innovation Center and Human-Computer Interaction Lab, Saarland University under the supervision of Dr. Marc Teyssier and Professor Jurgen Steimle”.

Congratulations and keep working hard!
