Becoming a top-level fencer
Originally from Grand-Magne, I started fencing as a cadet. Those first moments with a sword in my hands were a revelation, and I soon knew that it was a passion I wanted to pursue. Over the years, I progressed through the ranks, moving from the cadet and junior categories to senior competition.
My dedication and hard work enabled me to win the titles of Great Britain champion in the cadet, junior and senior categories in the same year.
These successive victories boosted my self-confidence and showed me that my hard work was paying off.
The international stage
The ultimate challenge for me was to compete against fencers from all over the world. This year, I won my first Junior World Cup medal, which made me realise that my skills could compete internationally.
However, I’m aware that the challenges have only just begun.
Future goals
I’m now looking to the future. I’m actively preparing for the next European Championships and the Senior World Championships, competitions that demand the very best from me.
The coming weeks will be crucial, and I’m working hard to perfect my skills to meet these challenges best.
A sports enthusiast
Apart from fencing, I have a passion for swimming. It gives me a feeling of serenity and freedom, and I can’t help thinking that I could have been a swimmer in another life.use.
ESILV offers top-level sportsmen and women the best possible conditions to reconcile their career challenges with their higher education studies in an engineering school.
Determined to take part in the Olympic Games one day
My journey in fencing is not just a series of victories and medals. It’s a lesson in perseverance, discipline, and passion.
My secret dream is to participate in the Olympic Games one day, and although it’s an arduous road, I’m determined to keep working to get closer to that opportunity.é.
I’m sometimes called ‘the little devil’ about my determination on the slopes. Away from all the competition, I share my life with my boyfriend Juju at home, balancing my sporting career and personal life.
