Yuditskaya’s creative process uncovers the complex relationships between sound and power structures while reimagining temporal experience through a deeply thoughtful lens.

Exploring the concept of techno-occult rituals

In her artist talk, Sofy explored the concept of techno-occult rituals, a recurring theme in her work that interrogates the hidden dynamics of modern technology and culture.

Her art often materializes as street performances or participatory pieces, where she uses interactive projections, salvaged materials, and code to draw attention to the interconnectedness of petro-culture and its influence on human consciousness.

About Sofy Yuditskaya

With an impressive portfolio of collaborations at prestigious institutions such as Eyebeam, ARS Electronica, the Guggenheim Museum in New York, and the Netherlands Institute for Media Art, Yuditskaya is a prominent figure in the media art scene. She is pursuing a PhD in Audio-Visual Composition at NYU, furthering her expertise in how sound and media shape human experience.
