Devinci Higher Education welcomed delegates from two of Devinci’s partner institutions this month. Visits from partner university members strengthen ESILV’s partnerships and provide collaboration opportunities in several areas and fields of science.
The first delegation visited Devinci Higher Education on May 6th from Hanyang University headed by Woo-Seung Kim, President of Hanyang University, and included Chong Seung Yoon, the university’s vice-president for international relations and Jaehoon Chung, Associate Manager Office of International Affairs. The second delegation that visited the Devinci campus on May 19th was from the University of Technology, Sydney, Australia, headed by Iain Watt, the Deputy Vice Chancellor, International, and included Innes Ireland, Deputy Director Global Engagement at UTS.
The agreements between Devinci Higher Education and its partners cover fields in management, engineering, digital sciences, student exchanges, and joint academic programmes.
Reaffirming partnership with Hanyang University
Hanyang University is a long-term partner of ESILV offering a student exchange programme aimed at students from partner universities. Engineering, business administration, international studies are among the fields of study that Devinci Higher Educations students can choose for a semester or a year abroad in Korea.
The Hanyang University delegates’ visit was an opportunity to discover the La Defense campus environment, as well as Devinci Higher Education’s transdisciplinary innovation center. This department is a major tool in delivering creative technology activities and focuses on incorporating cutting-edge technologies and knowledge into the engineering curriculum.
Expanded collaboration with University of Technology Sydney
With a rich offer of undergraduate and postgraduate courses across traditional and emerging disciplines such as architecture, built environment, business, communication, design, education, engineering, information technology, international studies, law, midwifery, nursing, pharmacy and science, UTS remains a destination of choice in higher education.
During this meeting, UTS and Devinci Higher Education renewed exchange agreements and expanded collaboration to offer new dual degree programmes for EMLV students.
With a network of more than 100 partners universities around the world, ESILV is able to offer students a vast number of international experiences, including study abroad programmes, dual degrees, research and work-study placements.
