Raissa Rebecca, class of 2024, passionate about supply chain, shares her journey from studying in Cyprus and Turkey to finding her calling in the supply chain and technology world, pursuing a master’s degree in Engineering in the Industry & Robotics major at ESILV in France.

What can the world of supply chain analytics offer?
Raissa Rebecca Kamseu Mongo holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a master’s in industrial engineering.
However, it was during her first master’s program that she discovered her true passion. An inspiring lecturer introduced her to the world of supply chain analytics, prompting her to shift her focus from a clothing line venture to a career in supply chain management.
I understood how the production line works and how to obtain raw materials from the initial supplier until they reach the final customer, ensuring their satisfaction. So, this is what I want to pursue as a career! – Raissa Rebecca.
An End of Study Internship at L’Oréal Paris
As she approaches the end of her studies, Raissa Rebecca, has secured an internship position in the supply chain
division at L’Oréal Paris headquarters in Paris.
I’m eager to apply my knowledge and skills to contribute to L’Oréal’s supply chain program. I have always wanted to work for this company.
The Supply Chain at L’Oreal consists of all the steps that allow them to deliver products and services. Every year, the Group distributes more than 6 billion products, which means dispatching two orders every second around the world to 8 distinct types of distribution channels such as hair and beauty salons, mass market, e-commerce, and travel retail.
The Challenges and Growth While Studying at ESILV

What can you aspire to when working within the supply chain industry?
In the short term, Raissa Rebecca aims to identify and fill any skill gaps within the supply chain industry, gaining valuable experience and potentially working with renowned companies like Microsoft or L’Oréal.
In the long term, she envisions establishing an intelligent warehouse management system company to contribute to developing logistics and supply chain practices, particularly in her home country, Cameroon.
