During the International Week at ESILV several universities came to present their partnership. The opportunity to focus on the English institution : Coventry University. Emma, from the academic partnership unit of Coventry University tells more about the school.
Coventry University is an innovative, modern university with excellent graduate employability which is also number one provider of international experiences amongst UK universities. This exchange is intended for 3rd and 5th year students in Computer Science, Big Data and Connected Objects and in Computational Mechanics and Modeling.
Coventry University : 2nd top faculty in the UK for Mechanical Engineering
The Faculty of Engineering, Environment and Computing is internationally recognised for its portfolio of education and research opportunities. The Employability-unit of Coventry University supports students to find suitable internships and graduate employment.
Coventry Faculty is made up of 3 specialist schools : School of Computing, Electronics and Mathematics, School of Energy, Construction and Environment and School of Mechanical, Aerospace and Automotive Engineering.

The schools work with some of the biggest names in industry, such as Jaguar, Land Rover and GE Aviation. The research building is equipped with industry-standard equipment and software. Students can access flight simulation systems, including one in the cockpit of a Harrier Jet, a wind tunnel designed by the Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One team and one of the most powerful magnets in the UK.

A city-centre campus
The campus is situated in the birthplace of the British motor industry : Coventry. Coventry is the 8th city in England. It’s a very multicultural city with a large student population.
